APAC Leadership Dialogue Plenary Agenda for Tuesday 19th July

This Leadership Dialogue will be a synthesis of the key challenges & opportunities of Protected & Conserved Areas in Africa to: a).
set the tone & introduce the congress; b), present the status of Protected & conserved Areas in Africa in Africa & their major
challenges (especially management effectiveness & governance); c). introduce the ambition of new target & challenges to achieve it
– in Marine & terrestrial; & where the opportunities lie & how to seize them, with a keen focus on OECMs. There will be a special
video on the status of protected & conserved areas with panel reflections. Helen Gichohi will moderate this High-Level Plenary.
